The ST-type travel bushing assembles the ball retainer and the steel balls in a precision-ground cylindrical bearing sleeve, which are arranged in a staggered form to evenly bear the load. The ball retainer is made of light alloy, light weight and strong rigidity, and can follow high speed movement. The inner surface of the bearing sleeve is equipped with a thrust ring and a stop ring on both sides to prevent the ball retainer from going out of range, thus ensuring a low coefficient of friction for rotating, reciprocating and compound motion.
